U of A Economic Graduate Students give you their best thesis “elevator pitch.” This is an in-person event. PhD students from the Department of Economics at the University of Alberta will give 7-minute talks about their dissertation research.

The event will be facilitated by Joseph Marchand, Professor of Economics, U of A; Founding Director, Alberta Centre for Labour Market Research (ACLMR); Co-Director, Institute for Public Economics (IPE); and Vice-President, ESNA.

There will be an opportunity for questions and informal conversations after the presentations.

There is no cost for this event, but please register below so we can account for seating needs (select the FREE ticket option). Anyone with an interest in economics is welcome to attend!
